Before the demonstration becomes a launch.

For an Orlando simulation or training business, an industry event such as I/ITSEC can put a new name in front of prospective customers. We help align the naming review with what you are actually ready to introduce.

A prototype and a commercial offering

A demonstration does not answer every question about how to file. We help assess the product’s stage and the way the name is being used.

Beyond the project label

A contract name, training platform, and public-facing experience can represent different identities. We help prioritize the brand your business expects to keep as the offering develops.

A few questions before we begin.

Can an Orlando simulation company trademark a training-platform name?

Potentially, if the name functions as a brand and meets registration requirements. Identify whether the offering is equipment, software, training services, or a combination. The commercial description matters to coverage and fees.

USPTO: goods and services

Is an I/ITSEC demonstration enough to file based on use?

Not necessarily. A public demonstration, prototype, or promotional announcement is not automatically qualifying use for the goods or services claimed. Counsel should review the actual commercial activity and evidence before selecting a filing basis.

USPTO: specimens of use

Trademark registration and filing guidance

Should a government project name be our trademark applicant name?

The applicant is the legal owner of the trademark, not the project title. Review ownership, contracts, and restrictions before filing. A government-facing project and a separately sold commercial product may require different branding decisions.

USPTO: common application problems

Trademark registration and filing guidance

Can a simulator registration cover an immersive entertainment venue?

Not by assumption. Equipment goods and entertainment services are distinct offerings and may require different descriptions, classes, and evidence. Describe the activities actually conducted or genuinely intended under the mark.

Is a complex refusal for a training brand covered by the package?

Substantive responses and standalone office-action engagements are billed at our current hourly rates. Portfolio strategy and contract-related brand advice are also hourly. The advertised flat fee applies only to the defined qualifying search-and-application scope.

USPTO: responding to office actions

Office-action response options

What should we send before an I/ITSEC product-name review?

Bring the booth graphics, proposed demo, development timeline, and a description of what customers can actually obtain. Include ownership and contract documents if the tool grew out of sponsored work. Start early enough to change the public name before printing.

Should an Orlando immersive-experience operator use the same brand for training and entertainment?

Compare the audiences, operators, and actual offerings before assuming one description will fit both. Bring the training contract and ticketing page. We can assess whether a shared identity supports the business and how the filing scope should reflect it.
